The Arts, both Visual and Performing, are practiced and valued in our complex and diverse society as important outlets for the communication of ideas, feelings and beliefs and as major sources of intellectual, physical, spiritual and emotional development, understanding and enjoyment.
Comprehensive and sequential learning experiences in the arts during schooling provide individuals with necessary skills, understanding and confidence to participate fully in the arts throughout their lives.
La Tropa de ISA
This wonderful, after school club for Performing Arts and Fine Arts offers a wide range of activities for your children.
Please contact Javier Chiaraluce, in the ISA Drama Department, for further details.
The IB Programme
The ISA Fine Arts Department offers IB Art and IB Music to 11th and 12th grade students to complete Group 6 of the IB Diploma.
Both of these outstanding subjects are a way for students to appreciate their craft during the last two years of high school.
AMIS (The Association for Music in International Schools)
ISA is proud to be an active member in AMIS.
AMIS offers ISA musicians the opportunity to participate in a variety of music festivals hosted throughout Europe. AMIS gives students the opportunity to work with other musicians of their age and performance level, creating lifelong, musical friendships.
ISA musicians must audition for participation in each festival, either through an outside audition or within ISA. Please see Mr. Walter or Mrs. Dickson in the ISA Music Department for information regarding any of the AMIS festivals.
