Energy Voice Fifty Years of Firsts Event

ISA is proud to host ‘Fifty Years of Firsts’ brought to you by Energy Voice and Scottish Enterprise. The event will be held at our school in the evening of Thursday 31st August to celebrate the upcoming 50th year of Offshore Europe Exhibition & Conference in Aberdeen.

This special evening will feature footage from the Press & Journal vaults, offering a retrospective view of the North Sea's milestones over the past five decades. This includes a thought-provoking panel discussion, captivating gallery presentation, and networking reception.

From 5pm to 8pm, the school will welcome guests and distinguished speakers from the Energy sector, including:

‘Fifty Years of Firsts’ is not only an event focusing on the remarkable advancements that have shaped the energy industry but also aligns with our very own journey, as ISA celebrated 50 years of educational excellence last year.

The evening will also feature a keynote by our High School student, Leonardo, alongside Head of School, Nick Little. This inclusion of young voices emphasises the importance of nurturing the next generation of future leaders.

Ryan Stevenson, Head of Energy Voice, commented, "We're delighted to be bringing together a number of industry leaders in this unique event to reflect on some of the key milestones that have shaped the North Sea over the last 50 years and to look ahead to what the future could hold. ISA is the perfect venue for us to do this, and we're very much looking forward to collaborating on this preview event for Offshore Europe."

Over the last five decades, the energy sector has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to adapt and evolve. This event aims to celebrate this legacy while recognising the transformative nature of an industry that continually embraces change. Similarly, ISA embodies these key attributes that make transformation into the unknown possible – adaptability, resilience, and flexibility.

We are looking forward to opening our doors for this exciting event and would love you to join us. If you would like to attend, please register for free here.
